
Sascha Zaburdaeva-Lorimer
Violin/ Viola
Born in Moscow, Sascha Zaburdaeva-Lorimer attended Gnessin's Music College, one of Russia's most selective schools.
As a student, she performed with the Russian Youth Symphony and Youth Talents of Moscow, playing at the Great hall of Moscow Conservatory and Kremlin's Hall, and other major Moscow halls.
After graduation, Sascha moved to New York and continued her studies at the Conservatory of Music in Brooklyn, studying with Professor Masao Kawasaki and Itzhak Perlman.
After receiving her second Bachelor degree, Sascha moved to Bangor and earned a Master's Degree in violin performance with Anatole Wieck.
Ms. Zaburdaeva-Lorimer has a rich experience as soloist, chamber musician, and currently sits as First Violinist at the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, as well as teaching students of all ages and abilities.
